I just now found out that Dorothy passed away. She and I spent many hours talking about the Lord both on the phone and at Dad’s (Orville) house. She was a good friend and companion for him and he for her. I was blessed to know her and will keep you all in my prayers. I am happy to know that she is finally nestled in her Saviors arms.

    To Dorothy’s family,
We will miss your mom and feel blessed to have known her. She was “Grandma Dorothy” to my children and we were sad to hear of her passing. She is now in heaven watching over us and showering all of us with her love. We will continue to pray for comfort for all of you thru this time of sadness. She was always a joy to see and talk with. Thank you for sharing her with my family. Blessings.

  • Marilyn Lilley says:

    To the family of Dorothy,

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your mom. The last time we talked was when Orville passed away. She said she would be moving and I told her to call when she was settled in her new place so Barbara Schnell, my sister, and I would come and visit her. She never called and I tried several times to get a hold of her with the phone number I had but never could. She was always a dear friend of our family and will be missed. Our prayers are with you all.

Marilyn Lilley (daughter of James and Janet Schnell)
