Edward A. Tombari, Jr.

Passed away on Sept. 12, 2017, age 65, after a long battle with cancer which he fought to the very end.

Dearest husband of Elaine (nee Cardenas) for 43 yrs. Proud and loving father of Lenore (Wayne) Muelver, Kirsten (Craig) Dodge, Nicole L. Tombari and Mathew Tombari. Grumpa to Reagan, Madison and McKinley Muelver, Gavin Dodge, and Sydney, Chloe and Henry Tombari. Preceded in death by Abagail Dodge. Loving son-in-law to Virginia Cardenas. Also survived by his sisters Ann Ockwood, Jean (Jim) Strom, Laura Hernigle and Mary Tombari, many other family and friends. Special thanks to TJ, John Sutek, J.C., Gary & Deb Ushakow, Dan & Teri Kent, Carl Cardenas and Dave & Kathy Nowak.

Ed was an employee of Tax Airfreight for many yrs.

Visitation at the funeral home Sunday September 17th, 2017 from 4-8 PM, with a Service at 6:30 PM.

    Immaculate Conception Grade School, Bay View High, football, baseball, strikeout at Clement Avenue School, collecting baseball cards, playing with our car racing sets, riding in your 62 Chevy (that needed a quart of STP every time we drove around the block), nights at The Clubhouse, playing softball for Lenardelli’s, The Ruins, Pam’s Place, Christies, Emery’s, TaxAir, PJ’s Blue Chipper, playing winter softball when it was 15 below, helping Debbie and I move 5 times in 2 years, playing football in the Turkey Bowl for 30 years, Halloween parties, birthday parties, Christmas parties with Elaine and the kids and for 55 years being one of the best friends someone could have.
