    Gerrie was a very generous Mother-in-Law. She was such a bright and capable person as well as a very independent woman. As I think of her, I remember all the early years and am grateful to her for so many things. We will miss her and the part she played in our lives for so long.

    Dear Kathie and Robert (aka Skipper);

    My sincere condolences on the death of your mom. we read the obituary in the paper yesterday and her name mentioned and she will be remembered for the next 40 days at all of our services.

    The only memories I have of her (and you father)are good ones. Always smiling and gracious. I would stop in at the Easter Seals Store when I was downtown to see her when I was a kid.

    May her memory be eternal and that of all of our family. Hugs to you both.

    To geraldine’s family, sometimes the best way to know the wonders of a person is to see the wonders in their children. I am sure she spent many days being thankful for herwonderful children and grandchildren. My condolences but I know you are all gratefulfor the time you had with Geraldine.

  • Jan Jarvis says:

    Dear Kathleen and Robert,

    I am very sorry to hear about your mother’s passing. My mother truly enjoyed the countless hours she and Aunt Gerrie spent talking on the telephone through the years. I cherish the memories I have of our visits to your home on the northwest side of Milwaukee when we were young. Aunt Gerrie was always smiling and had the most wonderful, contagious laugh. She will be missed very much.
