My deepest sympathy on your loss. He dearly loved Ginny and will to glad to join her again. Great at remembering our birthdays and at the Christmas cards he has sent over the years. Enjoyed our family get togethers with him and Ginny. God bless you all. You are in my thughts and prayers. Nina Lenz (Ray’s spouse).

  • Russ Lenz says:

I am one of Jerry’s nephews, I am the son of Ray & Nina Lenz (Ray was one of Ginny’s brothers). I loved Jerry, I always remember him telling jokes and kidding around, he always brightened up any occasion. He was always took a special interest in finding out what everyone was up to and what they had been doing. I knew him as a very caring, compationate, loving man who cared deeply for Ginny, his family and her family. It was sad to see both of them age over the years when they were both so full of love and happiness. I know Ginny was Jerry’s everything and it was very hard for him when he lost her, but we all can feel peace in knowing that they are together in heaven, they are without pain or suffering, and that their love is forever eternal.

Jerry will be greatly missed! Unfortunately we only have a short time on this earth, I know that Jerry spent his time well, he has many friends and relatives that love him and we know that he loves us. We each can find joy in remembering the many memories he has given us.

Our deepest sympathy on your loss, we will keep him and you in our prayers. Please let us know when the memorial service will be.

I was so sad to hear of Jerry’s passing. He was a good neighbor and will be missed.

  • Marc Haupert says:

Rest in peace, Uncle Jerry. The main memory I have of him is his infectious laugh, that could fill a room. He always had a story (or many) to tell at family gatherings, and enjoyed being the center of attention. That great smile, hearty laugh and bright eyes are the most memorable qualities of Uncle Jerry. He was a wonderful husband to Ginny and adored her. He was my confirmation sponsor and enabled me to explore the very interesting life of Saint Jerome (a great traveler and rabble-rouser in his own right). Much love and good wishes for your reunion with Ginny…heaven has a great story teller.
