So sorry for your loss. Although I never had the privilege to have met your Dad, I felt as though I knew him through our conversations before you went home to care for him.

As an infantry soldier in Vietnam, I appreciate your Father’s service in WWII; one of the “Greatest Generation.”

To Mrs. Gawin and all the other family members, I pass along my condolences.

  • Paul E Szymborski says:

God Bless you, grandpa. I will forever miss your quiet wit and loving way. I will always remember you calling the Bucks and Brewers “turkeys” and your quiet, but loving nature. A part of me has died with you. Grandma hasn’t been the same. It makes me sad to visit your house, mow the lawn, and sit in the driveway that you so often sat in and listened to Brewer’s games. I miss and love you Grandpa.
