Cian Colony

Beloved son, nephew, cousin and friend Cian Charles Colony, born June 15, 2000, passed away August 24, 2023, at the age of 23.

Cian was born in Waukesha, Wis., to Anna (Kutsulis) and Lee Colony. He participated in Boy Scouts for many years, earning the rank of Eagle, as well as being involved in leadership camps and attending the Boy Scouts National Jamboree. Cian grew up attending Layton Avenue Baptist Church, Greenfield, Wis. He graduated from Nathan Hale High School, West Allis, in 2018, where he played the string bass in the high school orchestra. He then entered the Arboriculture-Urban Forestry program at Gateway Technical College.

Cian worked for Wachtel Tree Science out of Merton, Wis., a company and career he enjoyed greatly. Cian was also a well-known personality of Sad Naus, a Magic the Gathering podcast, as well as the MTG community.

Cian was a kind, thoughtful man who always had a smile on his face and was willing to help others. He was a foodie at heart who loved trying out new restaurants with his mom or longtime friend, Bryce Carter, and helped his father in the garden.

Cian was preceded in death by all four of his grandparents, Arlene and Charles Colony; Kathleen and Louie Kutsulis; and uncle, Philip Kutsulis. He is survived by his parents; aunts Jeanne (Eric) Seebacher, Amy (Jason Taylor) Kutsulis, Cindy Kutsulis and  Dee Johnson. He is further survived by cousins Brianda Johnson and Jason Kutsulis and other family members and friends.

A visitation will be held in Cian’s honor from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, August 30th, 2023, at Layton Avenue Baptist Church, 9600 W. Layton Ave., Greenfield, followed by a 5 p.m. service and 6 p.m. meal fellowship.

A private burial ceremony will be held Thursday, August 31st, 2023.
