José Luis “Luigi” “Mister” Del Águila Andrade

Luis nació el primero de enero, 1949 en San Bartolo, Naucalpan en el Estado de México, hijo de Rosa Andrade Montana y José Carmen Del Águila. Se casó con Esther Hernández el 10 de septiembre, 1977, con quien tuvo seis hijos.

 

En su juventud le encantaba el futbol, y jugaba en el Club Latino y en otros equipos de Milwaukee. También le gustaba bailar, especialmente con la música de la Sonora Santanera y Rigo Tovar. Se vino a los Estados Unidos primero en el 1974 y permanentemente en el 1977. Duró 35 años trabajando en la Miller Compressing Company. Despues de haberse jubilado, pasaba tiempo disfrutando su casita en el monte, haciendo proyectos de construcción, y cocinando. Disfrutaba mucho del tiempo que pasaba con sus nietos. 

Deja a su amada esposa Esther, y sus hijos; José Luis (Sonya) Sanchez Tellez, Rosamaría (Michael) Laursen, Marialuisa (José) Romero, Yadira Del Águila, Beatríz (Carlos) Moscoso, José Luis (Candace) Del Águila, y Miguel Del Águila; veinte nietos y cinco bisnietos. 

Tambien deja a sus hermanos y hermanas; Lourdes (Ángel Millán), Rebeca (Mario Carlos), Sergio (Sonia Rodriguez), Ramón (Leticia Romo), Ernesto (Margarita Meléndez), y Rosa (Raul Tortón), y muchos amados sobrinos y sobrinas. Fue precedido en la muerte por su padre José Carmen Del Águila, su madre Rosa Andrade Montana, dos hermanos, sus sobrinos Iván y Adrián Del Águila Vargas, su sobrino Mario Carlos Del Águila, y sus nietos Duncan y Draven Laursen.

Lo que mas recordaremos de “Don Luigi” es su amor a la vida. Era bien trabajador, innovador en sus proyectos, responsable y muy altruista. Siempre muy amable, platicaba con todo el mundo y les daba muchos consejos. 

La visitación será el jueves, 27 de abril, 2023 de las 4:00-7:00 PM en la Bruskiewitz Funeral Home, 5355 W Forest Home Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53220. La Misa se llevará a cabo el viernes 28 de abril, 2023 a las 12:00 PM del mediodia en la Iglesia Católica de San Jacinto, 1414 W. Becher St., Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53215. Se sepultará enseguida en el Cemeterio de Mount Olivet, 3801 W Morgan Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53221.

José Luis Del Águila Andrade, age 74, passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2023, in Oxford, Wisconsin in his woods while clearing a fallen tree and branches to open the ATV trail for his grandchildren. He was with several of his children and grandchildren.

Luis was born on January 1, 1949, in San Bartolo, Naucalpan in the State of Mexico, the son of Rosa Andrade Montana and José Carmen Del Águila. He married Esther Hernández on September 10, 1977, with whom he had six children.

 

In his youth, Luis loved soccer and played on Club Latino and other teams in Milwaukee. He also loved to dance, especially to the music of Sonora Santanera and Rigo Tovar. He came to the United States first in 1974 and moved permanently in 1977. He spent 35 years working at Miller Compressing Company. After he retired, Luis spent his time enjoying his house up north, doing construction projects, and cooking. He loved spending time with his grandchildren very much.

Luis leaves his beloved wife, Esther, and children; José Luis (Sonya) Sanchez, Rosamaría (Michael) Laursen, Marialuisa (José) Romero, Yadira Del Águila, Beatríz (Carlos) Moscoso, José Luis (Candace) Del Águila Jr., and Miguel Del Águila; twenty grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind his brothers and sisters; Lourdes (Ángel Millán), Rebeca (Mario Carlos), Sergio (Sonia Rodriguez), Ramón (Leticia Romo), Ernesto (Margarita Meléndez), and Rosa (Raul Tortón), and many beloved nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his father Jose Carmen Del Águila, his mother Rosa Andrade Montana, two of his brothers, his nephews Ivan and Adrian Del Águila Vargas, his nephew Mario Carlos Del Águila, and his grandchildren Duncan and Draven Laursen. 

What we will remember most about "Don Luigi" is his love of life. He was a hard worker, innovative in his projects, responsible, and very altruistic. Always very friendly, he talked to everyone and gave them a lot of advice.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 27, 2023, from 4:00-7:00 PM at Bruskiewitz Funeral Home, 5355 W. Forest Home Ave., Milwaukee, WI 53220. Mass will be held on Friday, April 28, 2023, at 12:00 PM Noon at St. Hyacinth’s Catholic Church, 1414 W. Becher St., Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53215. Burial right afterward at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 3801 W Morgan Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53221.
