Kenneth "Ken" Doro

Ken was born in Milwaukee, WI on June 17, 1946, son of the late Raymond and Irene Doro. Ken is survived by his wife and love of his life, Jean (nee Folaron) Doro. The couple, who were next door neighbors growing up, wed on July 13, 1967, and brought three beautiful children into the world in which he is survived. David Doro, Todd (Nichole) Doro and Jacqueline (Doro) Westley. Eight grandchildren further survive him, Haley (Doro) and Matthew Hubley, Jake Doro, Taylor Doro, Ethan Doro, Isabella Doro, Ryan Westley, Chloe Westley and Brianna Westley. Ken is also survived by his brother Robert "Bob" (Mary) Doro and sister Susan (Bruce) Rognstad. Ken is preceded in death by his sister, the late Joyce Leffler. Ken is also survived by many family members and friends across the country. 

Anyone that knew Ken would agree that he could walk into a room full of strangers, with his contagious smile and gift of gab, and would walk out with a group of new friends. 

Ken graduated from Marquette University High School in 1964, and later enlisted in the US Navy where he was a Navy Helmsman. Upon his return, Ken, who was a wheeler and dealer selling anything he could sell, eventually started the Kendor Corporation in the early 1970’s. Ken held the helm of the Kendor ship until he passed.

Ken enjoyed spending time with his family and friends more than anything. 

A private service will be held for immediate family. The family wants to thank the staff at Froedtert Hospital and all the caregivers that cared for Ken during his battle.
