Macedonio Ibarra Hernandez

Macedonio was born in the small town of Pisaflores, Hidalgo Mexico. He met and married the  love of his life Margarita Saavedra Cruz in Leon, Guanajuato Mexico. They moved to Milwaukee,  Wisconsin in 1978 and made it their home. In Milwaukee, he worked at St. Mary’s hospital for  30-plus years until happily retiring to spend time with friends and family. Mac had a passion for  sports, especially for the teams Club Leon and the Milwaukee Brewers. He also enjoyed cooking  for family and friends, especially his famous pork “carnitas” dish. He’d love for everyone to  remember him with candid stories of what was good and blessed in his life.

Macedonio was the son of the late Aurelio Ibarra Luna and Elvira Hernandez Rubio. He is  preceded in death by brother Aurelio Ibarra, and grandson Turin. He is survived by children  Javier Ibarra (Cynthia), Oscar Ibarra (Teresa), Araceli Herrera (Johnny), Elvira Torres (Michael),  Arturo Ibarra (Veronica), Armando Ibarra (Rosa), Claudia Cisneros (Salvador), Rosana Lazcano 

(Tomas), Jerardo Ibarra, Wilfredo Ibarra (Ziara), and Antonio Ibarra. Macedonio is further  survived by 35 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren — along with his siblings Irma Piña,  Elvira Alcantar, Armando Ibarra, Uriel Ibarra, Hilda Martinez, Irina Rodriguez, and Plutarco  Ibarra. He was also loved by many nephews, nieces, and cousins.

Visitation will be held at the Bruskiewitz Funeral Home on Friday, December 9, 2022 from 4-8 PM, with a Funeral Service at 7 PM. Visitation will also be held at the funeral home on Saturday, December 10, 2022 from 10:30-11:15 AM. At 11:15 AM we will process to Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 3801 W. Morgan Ave., Milwaukee, for the entombment at 12 Noon.

Nuestro querido padre Macedonio Ibarra Hernandez “Ñoño” entró a la vida eterna el 29 de  noviembre del 2022 en la edad de 76 años. Fue un maravilloso y amoroso hijo, esposo, padre,  abuelo, primo y amigo que felizmente ayudaba a cualquier persona que lo necesitaba. En  nuestro duelo, su orgullosa familia, amigos y miembros de la comunidad de Milwaukee y  México lo celebra.

Macedonio nació en el pequeño pueblo de Pisaflores, Hidalgo México. Conoció y se casó con el  amor de su vida Margarita Saavedra Cruz en León, Guanajuato México. Se mudaron a  Milwaukee, Wisconsin en 1978 y lo convirtieron en su hogar. En Milwaukee, trabajó en el  hospital St. Mary's durante más de 30 años hasta que felizmente se jubiló para poder pasar  tiempo con amigos y familiares. Ñoño tenía pasión por los deportes, especialmente por los  equipos Club León y los Cerveceros de Milwaukee. También disfrutaba cocinar para familiares y  amigos, en especial sus famosas carnitas. Le encantaría que todos lo recordaran con anécdotas  sinceras de lo que fue bueno y las bendiciones de su vida.

Macedonio era hijo del los difuntos Aurelio Ibarra Luna y Elvira Hernández Rubio. También le  anteceden su hermano Aurelio Ibarra y su nieto Turín. Le sobreviven sus hijos Javier Ibarra  (Cynthia), Oscar Ibarra (Teresa), Araceli Herrera (Johnny), Elvira Torres (Michael), Arturo Ibarra  (Verónica), Armando Ibarra (Rosa), Claudia Cisneros (Salvador), Rosana Lazcano (Tomás),  Jerardo Ibarra, Wilfredo Ibarra (Ziara), y Antonio Ibarra. Además, le sobreviven 35 nietos y 14  bisnietos, junto con sus hermanos Irma Piña, Elvira Alcantar, Armando Ibarra, Uriel Ibarra, Hilda  Martínez, Irina Rodríguez y Plutarco Ibarra. También fue amado por muchos sobrinos, sobrinas  y primos.
