Norma Iris Brito (née Maldonado)

October 8, 1962 – February 13, 2025

With deep sorrow and profound love, we announce the passing of Norma Iris Brito, who went to her Eternal Home on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at the age of 62.

Norma is survived by her beloved mother, Ceferina Maldonado, and her cherished siblings: Alberto Maldonado (predeceased by his wife, Lucy), Robert Duarte (Ruth), Teofilo Maldonado, Jr. (Loly), and Rebecca Maldonado. She will also be lovingly remembered by her goddaughter, Krystyna Maldonado, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

She was reunited in heaven with her beloved husband, Guadalupe Brito, Jr., and her father, Teofilo Maldonado, Sr.

Norma found joy in life’s simple pleasures—shopping, cooking, and listening to her favorite Christian programs. She loved watching game shows and basketball, dining out, and spending time with family. Some of her fondest memories were made alongside her husband, whether taking scenic drives or visiting Lake Geneva, a place that held special meaning for them both.

Those who knew Norma will forever remember her infectious laughter. She had a gift for storytelling, though she rarely finished a joke—her own laughter would take over, and before long, everyone around her was laughing, too.

Norma’s unwavering faith was the cornerstone of her life. She trusted the Lord with all her heart, believing in His healing power until her final breath. And indeed, she received her miracle—not here on Earth, but in Heaven, where God’s promise was fulfilled. God remembered her.

She will be deeply missed and forever cherished in our hearts.
