Our Heavenly Father welcomed Robert Leo Pavwoski to his eternal rest on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at the age of 92.
He is survived by his devoted wife Delphine "Del" of 72 years, his children Linda (David) Palkowski and David (Laura) Pavwoski, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, a brother, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
Robert was born August 8, 1931 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Leo and Amelia "Emily" Pavwoski. He is the second child of 3 brothers, Leonard (deceased) and Frank. Robert graduated from South Division High School and served his country for four years in the United States Air Force. Robert then started working for Rexnord Industries where he was a Production Scheduler. In addition, Robert worked for the Milwaukee Park System as a Recreation Director. Later he worked for Marsh Electronics in the warehouse.
“Grand Potter”, as he was affectionately called by his grandchildren, was a devout Catholic and sports enthusiast. He stayed abreast of the Green Bay Packers, the Milwaukee Brewers, the Milwaukee Bucks and the Wisconsin Badgers.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at 10:00 am, with visitation from 9:00 am until the time of Mass at St. Rita’s Catholic Church, 2318 S. 61st St., West Allis, WI 53219. Private interment at Southern Wisconsin Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Union Grove, WI.
In lieu flowers, the family request donations be sent to the American Heart Association.
