Born/raised and a lifelong resident of Milwaukee, WI.  Attended elementary school at Wisconsin Avenue School (1965-1973), junior high at Fritsche (1974-1975), and graduated from Shalom High School (1979). Bolivia graduated with her Associate Degree in Arts at Milwaukee Area Technical College on May 18, 2018.  Bolivia also continued to maintain her license in cosmetology for the last 30 plus years.

Bolivia retired from The Milwaukee County House of Correction as an officer in 2015 after 20 plus years as SGT Roberts. Since her retirement, she continued her employment full-time through the city of Milwaukee as safety at several schools in the district, including South Division High School and Kagel Elementary. During Bolivia’s summers off from school she worked part-time at the Boys and Girls Club. Bolivia loved her Kagel family whom she spoke of often. No matter what time of day, she spoke highly of her staff and children. Bolivia would go out of her way to get to know the children and build great bonds with them. Bolivia adopted two bonus daughters close to her heart, Cheena and Roxanne, who she met at Kagel and spent time with often outside of work, treating them as her own family.

Bolivia loved spending time with her daughters and grandchildren and spoke of them often to where people felt like they knew them personally. Wherever Bolivia went, her fur baby Benji was not far behind, she loved him as her own son. Bolivia would practice knitting, picked up the hobby of scrap booking, journaling, using adult coloring books, vacationing and we can't forget shopping.

A Home Going gathering will be held at the Bruskiewitz Funeral Home on Friday, June 11, 2021, with viewing from 10 am-2 pm, and a Service to follow at 2 pm.
